Ultrasonic Flow Meters
Ultrasonic flow meters measure flow without coming in contact with the fluid. Transit- time meters, which are used for relatively clean fluids, and doppler meters, which can be used for dirty or solids-laden fluids both attach to the outside of the pipe.
